Nature Water: A Journal for All Water - Related Research
Time: 2025-10-07

On October 21, 2024, Dr. Fabio Pulizzi, Editor-in-Chief of Nature Water, was invited to deliver an academic report entitled "Nature Water: A Journal for All Water-Related Research", presided over by Wang Peng, Dean of the Institute of Carbon Neutrality and Green Development.
Dr. Fabio Pulizzi pointed out that water resources are the core of human civilization, and the progress of society in history is closely related to the ability to obtain clean water.
Modern society faces new challenges such as climate change and population growth, leading to water scarcity and increased pollution, affecting drinking water and sanitation facilities.
Nature Water aims to cover all aspects of the interaction between water resources and society, involving multiple fields such as natural sciences (e.g., earth science, environmental science), engineering (e.g., environmental engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, materials science), and social sciences (e.g., economics, human geography, sociology), with many interdisciplinary themes.
In the report, Dr. Fabio Pulizzi shared his vision for the journal, discussed it in the context of the Nature series publications and other water-related journals, and elaborated on the themes the journal will cover and the requirements for submitted manuscripts.
