Professor Wang Peng, Dean of the Institute of Carbon Neutrality and Green Development has been awarded support from the Agilent ACT-UR Research Fund

On April 11, 2025, Agilent Technologies awarded Professor Wang Peng the "Agilent University Research Program for Applied and Core Technologies (ACT-UR)" fund. Leaders and senior management from both the school and the enterprise attended the awarding ceremony and witnessed this significant moment together. Professor Wang Peng is currently affiliated with the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University. In addition, he serves as the deputy director of the Academic Committee of the Faculty of Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University and the co-founding chairperson of the International Air Extraction Association. He has been committed to developing interdisciplinary basic scientific research and technological development to promote the sustainable development of "water - energy - environment". The scientific research project "Air Water Extraction Technology and New Adsorption Air Water Extraction System" led by him has shown considerable application prospects and has attracted the attention of the scientific community at home and abroad.
